Church & Community

Welcome Team

Newcomers party at the Vicarage
Newcomers party at the Vicarage

Your presence in church is cherished by God and the community of Christ here at St Michael and All Angels. You bring a light that enlightened the Church and God's world.

We have a vocation to be a parish church, engaging with the whole of the community and offering pastoral car and spiritual nurture.

Our Welcome Team members greet people as they arrive and ensure that they have the correct material for each service.

Our main task is to try to ensure that everyone feel welcome at St Michael's and we keep an eye open for any new faces and try to be attentive to their needs.

We are a friendly bunch who meet socially twice a year, so it's a good way to meet new people.

We organise drinks parties for those who are new to our community so that they might feel part of the family. In time, it is our hope that all people will share in the life of the church.

If you would like to join the team please contact Liz Hunter by email: , or telephone: 01865 552475.
