The Worship & Teaching group is driven by a strong theological focus which carries a prophetic
message about care for God's creation and the consequences (sinful) of not paying heed to creation's
song. We will attempt to express, through worship and teaching, something of the "amazement" of
creation, its beauty and wonder.
We will also focus on the call for better stewardship of creation,
how selfishness and abuse of this fragile jewel is threatening the existence of natural resource,
plant and animal diversity and, ultimately, human life.
We therefore plan to offer 4 services focusing on the four seasons on the year, whilst also
developing a new liturgical season, that of Creationtide, from 1st September to the Feast of St
Francis – 4th October.
